The project "Botanical Art. A Living Archive" invites us to look at botany not as an object of scientific observation, but as a space of memory, experience, and personal narratives. Here, the plant appears not merely as a form or a species, but as a carrier of time, emotions, and connections between humans and nature. Traditionally, botanical art has sought precision—the careful documentation of the structure and characteristics of the plant world. In this exhibition, precision gives way to individual perception. The artists explore nature through their own experiences, engaging with themes of memory, vulnerability, resilience, life cycles, and regeneration. "Botanical Art. Sakura Contemporary 2026 2026 The second edition of Sakura Contemporary 2026 emerges not as a continuation, but as a deeper exploration—into a state of being, into the silence between blossoms, into the very nature of transience. Here, the sakura is no longer merely an image of spring or a decorative metaphor. It becomes a tool for contemplation—a point where fragility and tension, embodiment and disappearance, presence and its inevitable loss converge. The blooming of the sakura is always an event that already contains its own ending. Within its brief duration lies its strength. Within a beauty that does not seek permanence lies its radical nature. The artists participating in this project do not seek to reproduce the sakura; they engage with its condition. Through painting, drawing, objects, and contemporary media, they capture not form but experience: the flicker of light, the tension of colour, the pause before the petals fall, the sensation of time passing through the body. During the flowering season, Uzhhorod transforms into an environment where reality and image almost coincide. The city becomes more than a backdrop—it becomes a participant, a living fabric within which this brief season of contemplation unfolds. Contemporary Wine: The Visual Philosophy of Wine 2025–2026 An artistic project exploring the phenomenon of wine as a cultural and philosophical symbol, a source of inspiration, and a metaphor for life. Wine is a story, a tradition, an aesthetic experience, a philosophy, and, undoubtedly, an art form. Within it reside the character of a place, the hand of the maker, the spirit of time, and the moment of enjoyment. In this project, a group of Ukrainian artists presents their own visual interpretations of the concept of contemporary wine. Visual art and winemaking emerge here as equal partners in a shared creative act, shaping a new cultural identity for the region. Contemporary Wine is a synergy of art and wine culture, creating a space for inspiration, the exchange of ideas, and the discovery of new meanings.
